<itunes:summary>In this episode of Chopper KWest we talk with Eric from Professional Powder Coating, out of Sparta, WI, about powder coating and ceramic coating.

I hate to start out with a correction, but did make a small mistake in this episode. In the audio I refer to the PPC's website as, www.ppcwi.com and it is actually www.powdercoatingwi.com. Sorry about that.

Other than that, we've got a great episode for you and hopefully you'll learn a little about powder coating and the process of powder coating. What should and on the other hand, what is more challenging to powder coat.

We learn a little about the good and bad of bringing your own powder to your favorite powder coater, and a good resource for getting small batches of powder. Eric recommends Prismatic Powders. Prismatic also has a nice color chart for choosing colors, although in a previous conversation I had with Eric he recommended ordering a color swatch before you actually purchase your color. Some computer screens actually render colors just a little differently, and your never going to get close with the color chart, but you may not get the exact results you can get with an actual color swatch from the company.

We also talk a little about John's new spray booth, and the advantages of having your own spray booth.

I talk about sissy bars and my new sissy bar.

We get into twisted metal. KWest Choppers is now offering made to order lengths of twisted metal bar stock. We can do any size up to 5/8". And lengths up to 6'. We can of course do as many feet as you need, but in lengths of 6' max.

We also do clockwise and counter clockwise twist. If your doing a sissy bar with two pieces welded together you may want the two sections to have opposing twists. If you have any questions regarding ordering or special requests, feel free to email or just shoot us a call: 608-622-7464.

Thanks for listening, hope you enjoy the episode.</itunes:summary>
